Hi everyone — past, present, and future students, and their circles of support.

From the age of four, I knew music was my path. Like many of my students, I was searching for my place in a world full of choices. I began on accordion at age four, studying with my music teacher father and my first teacher, Mrs. Waldron, and before long I was performing with my family's accordion band — including cruise ships and television appearances. At sixteen, I made the exciting move to formal piano lessons, and from there I went on to play violin and clarinet, accompany choirs, and perform with jazz bands. I had found my place.

I was later honored to study music at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL under Dr. Gary Round, and to study piano with both José Cubela and Areola Maruku. A recording of my Christmas recital duet with José Cubela is available on our Music Video page.

For the past 30 years I have taught out of my private home studio in Fort Worth, and have also served as an adjunct piano teacher for Texas Academy of Faith and Arts (TAFA). In 2022 I became a partner in Sparks Music Center at Hulen Mall alongside co-founder and friend Michael Manning. We partnered with Sparks Music School in Granbury, Texas in 2023, growing to over 200 students before launching Music2Career in 2026 — built around our trademarked and copyrighted Alpha Dia-Tonics method of music learning.

It is my joy to pass on everything I have learned to my students through Music2Career, our preparatory and music lesson academy in Fort Worth, Texas.
