Sing, Play, Learn, and Grow
Welcome to Music 2 Career where we love music and the people who make it! We are grateful for your presence, and welcome you to our community.
M2C is a "Micro University" designed to provide an economical prep-school culture and feel. We believe our motto "music readers are life leaders" can be best achieved by bridging traditional private music lessons with our cutting edge Alpha Dia-Tonics program. Alpha Dia-Tonics is a learning system that ensures students successfully achieve their music goals. Whether they are here to explore or go for full Alpha Dia-Tonics certification. Alpha Dia-Tonics utilizes a Pyramid Progress Report which ensures that all methods and achievements are followed and documented by all of our highly trained and mentored staff.
Tuition and Fees
We offer a monthly no contract subscription plan. We require a credit card on file for lesson payments. There is a 30 day written notice required for subscription cancellations. Please see our cancellation policy for more information.
Tuition is $165 a month for 30 minute lessons and $225 a month for 45 minute lessons. Tuition may increase periodically. We will not begin charging an increased rate without providing 30 day written notice of the increase. Some services such as audio production, videography, or guitar tech lessons require more time and may have higher tuition. Families with multiple students are eligible to receive a $15 discount per additional student per month.
The cost to get started at Music 2 Career is $87.50 which covers the registration fee of $50 and the cost of the student lesson book of $37.50. Students who cancel their subscription for a short time and return can pay a reduced registration fee of $35. All fees are non-refundable.
Monthly tuition is based on a 48 week year, not a 52 week year. We are closed for certain holidays and week- long breaks. In the long months, you will get five lessons. In the short months, you will get three lessons, but most months you will get four lessons. The tuition is the same each month; i.e. we don't charge you more when you have five lessons, and we don't charge you less when you have three lessons in a month.
Arrival and Departure
Please arrive on time – your teacher has prepared a detailed lesson plan that requires the entire lesson time and if you come late the teacher cannot go over their time. For parents who have more than one child taking lessons, please supervise your child while the other child is in the lesson. Bring activities or homework for the child to do. It is neither the instructor’s nor the secretary’s responsibility to supervise children in the waiting room. Parents are expected to pick up their children promptly at the conclusion of their lessons. No one will be supervising the children at the conclusion of lessons. An adult parent or guardian must accompany any student under 12 years of age upon arrival and departure from every in-store lesson.
